This is my journey to hopefully clear up my legs from Psoriasis. I tried it once before and it worked, but I got lazy and started to eat whatever I wanted and it came back. There may not be a cure but I can do what I can to try to control it.

how is it going? i recently read “healing psoriasis” and i’m on the diet as well. I thought cutting alcohol would do it, but so far no change at all after 10 days.
I am now cutting out dairy to see if that helps. After I few months I think I will see what else I need to cut out, possibly night shades, I will see as I go. Trying to give up everything at once proved to be to hard for me to stick to long term
Wow…where did the time go? Well, I stuck to my diet for a few months and stopped when I got pregnant in the summer of ’08. My legs cleared up while pregnant and I recently started breaking out again (he is 7 months old now).). I haven’t gone back onto the diet, though I have been gluten free for 2 years now. That didn’t really seem to help, but I am sticking to it for other reasons.
whatever illnes you got!!! if you ask any doctor is a diet factor?
they will tell you no!!!!! diest its everything!!! aloe vera juice is the trick for skin illness!.peace!.
i just had this thing a month ago, i dont know. what to i used to have an amzsing skin. so sad. need help… is UV Photo lab will help?
im very depressed..
I developed Psoriatic patches about 16 motnhs ago. Prior to that I had some kind of skin inflammations.
I turned to allopathy but these steroids are of no good. Then I turned to homeopathy which worsened my condition (maybe the doctor wasn’t good). Then finally I came acroos ayurvedic research center for Psoriais. They stressed upon dietary restrictions and gave their herbal medicines. Though its difficult to maintain dietary restrictions, but now my psoriais is 99.99% cured
The cause of psoriasis is the thinning of the walls of the intestinal system, which allows the escaping of poisons – or the absorption of poisons by the muco-membranes which surround same, and becomes effective in the irritation through the lymph and emunctory reactions in the body.
40yrs with this and i can tell you the big 3 no-no’s are alcohol stress and poor diet.If you can go teetotal, avoid stressful situations as much as pos and eat really clean unprocessed foods with the emphasis on fresh vegetables and drinking lots of mineral water you will eradicate it 99%.Other helpful things include exposure to uv light bathing in dead sea salts and getting lots of sleep. Its not easy…i know
my mom has P all over and the itching is getting severe and shes losing so much sleep. Can anyone recomend something that helps relieve or stop the itching?
i think diet has a lot to do with the cure and also the main culprit here is your liver, every chemical from all the foods pass through the liver when the liver gets over exhausted with toxins from fast foods it throws them out to the skin . psoriais sucks sometimes i feel like if there was a restart button so i can go back to my nice skin again.
I developed psoriatic arthritis 4yrs ago aft being on Enbrel 5 yrs for RA. In a blood test that measured how my blood reacted to foods w/a result range from 0-2000, I found that I was SERVERLY allergic Garlic, Milk, eggs & Yeast. Aft 2yrs of changing my diet my PA went from severity 10 to 1-2! Not a cure it but really lessened the severity. You can’t give the same diet to everyone since everyone is different. I have to bring my own food everywhere but its worth it!
Removing enriched wheat and only eating whole grains helped me alot. Veggies with natural fiber helped as well. Green veggies work very well. Stay away from potatoes, except sweet pots. The shouthbeach diet phase 1 and 2 brought about a huge change in symptons.
Psoriasis is when your immune system goes into hyperdrive and goes after your skin (and joints for many others). I think natural foods that can help regulate cell multiplication can help level out the body’s immunities.
sugar is a big psoriasis no no! i have it & it definatly gets agrivated by sugar, including carbs (that turn to sugar in your body) i have positive results eating lots of green leafy veg! & drinking dandelion tea! (or take dandelion root capsules) the tea tastes yuk!
Thank you for having such a GREAT attitude…! You give the rest of us a more positive outlook…. I also have psoriasis, I am very interested in your results… Thanks again… Matt
Anything new?
Any luck yet?
